Drug Testing Program

The decision independent (IDEM) aims at reinforcing a way of life exempt from dope positive by giving instigations in 7 e thanks to students the 12th year who refrain from using drugs. The students who are in the programme and do not test positive for medicaments become eligible for rewards. The students participating in the programme agreed to suffer an unpredictable screening of drugs. The programme of identification is voluntary. All analyses of screening of drugs will be performed to the Forensic Toxicology East Alabama Medical Center Laboratory. The students participating in the programme of identification will be haphazardly chosen, and notified to come in an indicated place, in its school to give a sample of urine for the screening of drugs. Formed personal EAMC, by virtue of guidelines split-sample, will perform all collections of specimens. The whole process, collection of samples thanks to the analysis of samples and presentation of results, will be accomplished in a professional way by putting the emphasis on the maintaining of the confidentiality of the pupils. EAMC will use the numbers of identification of the pupils to choose the pupils haphazardly as tests. The trial laboratory, however, is going to use the numbers of unique identification specimen which were twinned in numbers of identification by the co-ordinator of the system to identify the specimens of urine during trials and results of reports. All analyses performed on samples will follow strictly médico-lawful directives of laboratory with the aid of the equipment of art at the same time for screening and, if necessary, confirmation of the drug. The files of the programme of identification of the pupils are supported in a file reassured by central service and will be separately kept from files of the permanent students. All students of the programme are acceptable to be any time tested.
All results of screening of drugs will be directly transmitted from the trial laboratory for the medical officer of revision (MRO), a doctor of health indicated by EAMC. Results of controls anti negative dope will be directly signalled to the co-ordinator of the system by MRO without communicating with the pupil or his parents. In the case of a result of positive test, MRO will make contact with the parents of the pupil to determine if positive result is due to an illegal or lawful usage of the substance signalled. If a positive result of dope is proved by MRO following consumption of lawful drugs, MRO will make contact with the co-ordinator of the system and to give an account of results of analyses as negative. If, however, a positive result of dope cannot be proved following consumption of lawful drugs, MRO will make contact with the co-ordinator of the system and to give an account of results of analyses in a positive way. The co-ordinator of the system informs about it the pupil and the private parent, giving information on the counselling outside and treatment. To return to the programme, the success of a programme of counselling outside and new test with a result of negative test will be requested. Sum and intensity of the treatment will be determined by MRO. The student will be also asked to delay his identity card and / or will not be acceptable in one incentive additional, until a result of negative test is obtained on samples of urine subsequent. All requests of supplementary trials must be addressed by MRO and not orientated to laboratory tests. Non-opened divided containing some urine will be used for aims of re-test in case of any challenge. A parent in May to question any confirmed positive result. To undertake performed additional trials will be supported by parents.
It is important to underline that the purpose of the programme is to reward healthy and positive behaviours. The pupils who take prescribed medicine are encouraged to participate. Trials of medicaments in the programme of identification is under no circumstances a tool of inquiry of an organism of application of law. Positive results will not be place in criminal chases.

Ways to pass drug test, Research and valuation
To have an uninterrupted valuation, the programme of identification will study programmes of screening of drugs of the pupils to the medium, junior school schools and high school of Auburn City Schools. Spectrum Consulting will organise valuation by means of their researches.
There will be two basic types of data collected for research aims in this study. Information on the tests of drugs of the pupils will be given to Spectrum Consulting by the system in form of aggregates on a monthly base and contains no absolutely studying identifiers of any sort. For example, every month, the system will give data on the way many tests of dope were performed and what the results of these tests were with an aeration by ethnic group, sex and class at the school, but anything on the persons who were tested. The other type of data to collect data is an annual inquiry into all the pupils in every school. These inquiries will allow to ask questions on the usage of drugs of the pupils and beliefs and linked attitudes, but contain no individual identifier of the pupil of any sort. They will be completely anonymous inquiries using an instrument of inquiry which was used for the valuation of needs in each of the schools participants in the course of the previous years. So, the search party will be never announced by data which identifies a pupil and will undertake analyses of data of screening of drugs and of data of inquiry which is total in nature.
